Car shut off and security light blinking

Please help any advice needed.
Synopsis:
Was driving car normally got on the gas to about 5k and car shut off completely. The headlights still work fine and radio and when I turn the ignition the radio shuts off, but the headlights don't dim at all. Noticed the red security car light was blinking and now car won't start.

Recent mods done earlier were SR pulley's, but didn't have time to install alternator pulley from kit. Reset ecu with 20 brake pumps and drove around fine. Died later today.

Just got back right now and found the 15A engine fuse was blown. Replaced it and it fired right up. Any ideas on why this happened? Could it be a loose battery terminal? alt pulley?

You have a short somewhere. Happened to me when i first lowered my car the wheels rubbed the headlight harness and shorted the leveling unit. Just dig around your cars wiring and you'll find where its shorting

Think I found the short. My sub came loose from its mounting point and probably pulled out the grounding wire out of the chassis. The sub isn't working so I'm guessing that was it. I'm going to remove the rear seat later and take a look, but thats weird shouldn't the inline fuse of blown before any other fuses?

Well it wasn't the subwoofer system. The 15A engine fuse blows simply when turning the key to the on position. Any ideas what could've gone wrong. It is at Mazda now so throw me your guesses.

Exclamation

No input? Well I went to the dealer yesterday because they wanted to remove the bhr ignition kit, and wanted to believe that is was at fault, and was causing the car to misfire (sounded like it due to being catless). Basically they found nothing wrong with the car as the 15A engine fuse wouldn't blow. So we checked the positive battery connection and it was very loose. So I had them tighten that sucker way down. Then proceeded to drive it around to try and get the fuse to pop. Nothing so far. Driven it about 40 miles so far and nothing.

Could a loose battery connection cause the engine 15A fuse to pop when turning the ignition just to the "On" position?
