AZ Car has rough idle

My car has been idling rough when it sits for more than a day but after 5 to 10 sec tops it idles normal....I have had no problems or hesitation while driving. It just seems odd to me because if i have driven the car at any point during a 24hr period it always starts and idles fine but if it sits for longer than one day it refuses to idle correctly this has been going on for a few weeks now, any ideas or help would be great

Having the same problem...

Also had a flashing CEL during the rough idle, which went away when the car began idling normally.

I dont think it has anything to do with MAF, battery or plugs, since it only happens when the car is first started, and goes away after a while. A dirty MAF or failing plugs/wires would be problematic all the time.

Just happened to me again this morning, car sat all weekend, ran rough for about 30 seconds with the SES light flashing intermittently. I wonder if its debris in the gas tank clogging the fuel filter. That would explain the lean SES code I've seen in similar posts (haven't had mine read yet to be sure).
