can someone in the bay area come look at my car? it won't start. Redwood city.

Hey there!! I have a 2004 RX8 and I think I may have flooded my engine. something pretty common with the 2004 model. I've talked to several mechanics that all tell me different things. I cant even trust the mazda mechanic I saw because he told me things that my dealer said was wrong. I'm here because I know that the people on this website are well informed about RX8's. If anyone can maybe come and look at my car to see what it might possibly be, to save me the 500 fee..I would be eternally grateful. Its to the point where it may get towed. Someone also recently hit my car. I've been screwed ALOT this year.. I just need someone to tell me what's wrong with my car.. that's all.. So I dont pay for some unnecessary stuff that I dont have to.
It's pretty weird.. I turn the key and it sounds like it's going to start, but it doesnt. It cranks but doesnt start.. Some guy said that it needs a spark? not to sure. Its not the gas or the battery. Any ideas?? Please someone come save me! I'm freaking out.

if it helps.. I'm a model..
xx

Liz...not from your area but I can confirm for you that your car does sound flooded. If you look in your manual there is a deflood procedure that you can try and do on your own; however, with your attempts to start it they will probably not work out too well. Hopefully one of the people in your area can swing by and help you with the more complicated deflood procedure. I would also recommend making a post in your local thread, under the region forums, for a little more exposure in your area. If you get no response and have any mechanically inclined friends or family in the area we might be able to walk them through fixing it across the internet as it isn't a very complicated process to follow. Good luck

wow. I was just in that area this past weekend. I'm sure if Team looks at it, he'll figure it out. But best of luck! Definitely post any further info on the issue.

p.s. - i like that bait at the end "If it helps, i'm a model" I would've totally helped for that alone
