Somethings wrong
Check for vacuum leaks

Perhaps the maf has not been reinstalled correctly, or dirty.

Did you remember to cap the VFAD nipple?
And as wcs mention, check/clean the MAF... make sure its sealed well.

I helped him install it, it was a MS CAI and looks to be in good condition.

Kyle, everyone is telling you what I thought the problem was... MAF sensor, leaks, or screens... Try going to get some MAF sensor cleaner and very I mean VERY gently clean the sensor with a Q-tip. Also check the screens (I think this is the real problem), as for the VFAD nipple I'm pretty sure it's capped. If that's the one by the throttle body then yeah it's capped.

1. Screens misaligned
2. MAF sensor dirty or not placed correctly
3. Vac leak

You mean like Ray said, you were the guy who helped him mis-install it (fixed that for you) and then listed a bunch of guesstimates along with it

Since I run screenless without issue I'd have placed my money on a post-MAF leak, but would have rather offered some in person assistance then watch someone get run in circles by the usual forum keystone cops Chinese fire drill approach.

Glad he got it resolved. Ray is obviously a knowledgable source, but there's always a dozen other numnuts listing off everything under the sun in shotgun scattershot style.

I was just messing with you I was serious about the forum Chinese fire drill Yes, only a total ******* would offer their time and effort to help. If anyone local actually got to know me it would ruin my hard earned rep here so I'll pass on the meetup
