Hello I had my A/C checked and they said my A/C amp is bad and compressor . I did the check for the A/C control unit explained here on the forum and saw that is was good and saw that the compressor kicks on and the clutch engages properly so I would assume that it is working properly. I did a leak test and there are no leaks and I have recharged it recently. I am thinking my A/C amplifier is the problem and if i fixed that it would work again. I am thinking it is unlikely that both the amplifier and compressor go out at the same time. Could I mail off the circuit board for the amplifier and have it repaired somewhere or would buying a new one be my only option?

 

I have the same problem. Mazda told me to buy new it is $700.

 

Just buy a used one, it's a fairly common issue.

 

Get a used one from Mazmart.

 

FE04-64-540A list is $723(!), although street price should be much less.

edit; i can't imagine what's in there that would make it that expensive, at that price you could buy a new i phone and program an app, and it would be like half the money

 

try to get a brand new FC wiper switch from Mazda /w RR , or new FC ECU N350/N351. u gonna get a heart attack. LOL
