Bose Speaker Issue
Well, my driver side door speaker has been fucked up for quite some time now and I want to get it fixed since the dealership won't cover it. Basically, the sound is there sometimes and when it isn't, I smack my door and the sound comes back sometimes. I was told by a shop that I need a new speaker because the top small speaker works perfectly fine meaning the connection is fine. If this is the issue, do I just need to buy another bose speaker or what do I need to fix the problem? Thanks!

Just check to see if u have lose connections... maybe a wire is not plugged in correctly.... thats the only explanation i have to the "when i smack my door the sound comes back" problem

Thanks, any other thoughts?

I can tell you this much, if you check and it is a loose connection wont you be happy you didnt buy a new bose speaker?... i suggest this because i,ve seen $80k generators be disabled cus of a bad connection... so i say give it a try, you got nothing to lose.

Save up some money and replace the speakers as they are the weak link in the stero system.
No need to take it apart and waste the labor. |
