I recently bought a 06 plate rx8 231 and i went to a rolling road only to find it only puts out 202 bhp has anyone else found this or is my car faulty

 

From what I understand about a rolling road dynamometer, wouldn't drivetrain loss still be present in the results? If this is the case (British horsepower?) then your results are typical, if not on the high side. Average results tend to be anywhere between 160-190 whp accommodating for drivetrain loss.
