auto leveling headlight caused by modification?
so early this year i managed to wreck my RX8. When I Put it back together i did numerous things to it. 19 inch rims. Tokico spec D Coilovers and lowering spring (stock springs in rear) and hotchkis Racing sway bars. When it was ready to go it was fine no lights. the next day however i got the headlight malfunction light. my question is this because of my mods? or because of the wreck?? And if there is anyway to recalibrate the sensors to take my warning light.
thanks for all advice.

The sensor linkage on the rear can get reversed easily so check it against the on line workshop manuals or compare to another car.
The sensors are also easily damaged if you don't disconnect the linkage when working on suspension... see if if one got bent.
Also on early RX-8 models water gets in through the connector and rots the internals.
The sensors are easy to take apart and clean up. If it's all rusted and broken inside then you'll have to get a new one.
Make sure to seal where the wires enter the connector housing if that applies to your car.
