So I flooded my 05 Rx8 by moving it in the driveway and shutting it off cold. It was flooded for about a day, I did my research and used the method of removing fuses and cranking the excess fuel out. After this I decided I could give the car a tune up now since I have no record of when the last one was done. ( just bought the car ). new plugs are in the car and I ordered a new oil filter.

I took the car out for a drive and noticed a big change, the car seems ALOT smoother, it seems like before it used to vibrate a lot? No worries right? well it with this difference I feel like the car has lost some horsepower? doesn't seem to accelerate like it did before, but is smoother?

any ideas?

wires and coils should probably be replaced too
