Long story short, car was running perfectly, got into a car accident with another car. The day of the accident I was able to drive my car home however it would randomly shut off when coming to a stop. I have fix my car, body work, change the maf sensor cause I thought it was bad but I am still having the same problem.

When I am driving pass 3,500 RPMs and let's say I put the car in neutral the rpm would drop and the car will shut off. I have to brake first until the rpms are around 2000 or less then put it into neutral to avoid the car from shutting off. Car is also having a small struggle when turning on but not that big.

Does anyone have any idea what it could be? Remember it only started happening after the crash.

Is it an automatic? I'm kind of confused.

Where did you hit it, and how hard?

 

Throwing a dart here, but maybe the impact broke the strata in your cat, if you have one, possibly blocking the exhaust?

 

The car is a Manual transmission, and also I have a gutted cat with a custom exhaust.
