40K '05 with Oil + Coolant + Tranny Issues

First off, I looked around in the trouble shooting section, and I read up on the transmission issues, so I will try to be brief.

I purchased the car from an Acura dealership with just under 40K miles. When I initially test drove it everything sounded quite alright. But now I can hear several distinct annoying noises.

1) When the car is sitting in neutral with the clutch pedal not depressed I can hear a kind of grinding/whirring noise. I believe this could be the input shaft bearing?

2) Past 6k RPM I can hear a rattling noise that increase in volume as the revs increase. I have no clue what this noise could be, and its really annoying since it sounds as if my entire tranny is shredding itself. The noise is noticeable in 1st and 2nd gear. I think this might be a loose flywheel.

3) Shifts from any gear into 1st are inconsistent in feeling. Sometimes it feels as if the lever slides in and other times I really have to force it before it pushes in. Even more, depending on whether it slides in or not, the tranny will make kind of a soft grinding noise. It really bugs me since I feel like I'm not shifting properly, but I'm very soft on the clutch and try to stay consistent with my lever motions.

I'm taking the car to the dealership on Wed, since it still has 900 miles of "certified" warranty left on it, but I have to get the work done I believe at the Acura dealership, which scares me since they...service.... Acuras... x.x But either way, I would appreciate your guys' inputs just so I can get a sense of what I can repair myself, and what would be left best to a mechanic.

On another note, two more small issues.

1) My water temp gauge never quite makes it to the center, about 2-3 dashes from the middle. However, my oil pressure gauge is always 2-3 dashes above the middle. Could it just be somethings wrong with the calibration of the gauges? Or is the oil clogged somewhere and my coolants always too cold? xD

2) I can hear kind of a drop/bump noise when I turn the steering wheel left after turning it right, exiting a right hand corner. I'm pretty sure this is just the sway-link or end-link or whatever its called that attaches to the lower control arm. So is this an issue I can fix myself?

I know this is a huge list of stuff to deal with, and I understand you'd rather read about FI, but I'd appreciate a response, and I'll buy you some McDonalds or something if you live in Seattle and help me out >.>

1. Is normal. Whirring sound is gone when clutch is pressed.

2. Is it "Marbles in a can" sound from the engine or the dashboard area?

3. Check your clutch pedal welding points, bleed your clutch line and learn to shift. You generally don't need 1st unless you come to a complete stop or you double declutch down when you want that corner out speed real bad.

4. Those are dummy gauges.

2. Sort of, more like rocks in a can and its coming from the dashboard.

3. I do know how to shift, its not difficult to shift into first all the time, just at certain intervals. I'm pretty sure its not me since when I first purchased the car it would slip into first easily. And I know you're not supposed to shift into first until you're at a crawl, but I always shift into first after I stop from a coast.
