if you could find a post giving a link or color codes for the seats you would look way smarter, now you just look like someone who wants to be smart

Perhaps try looking through the online manual(actually u have to download). I believe they have a section with assorted color coding.

I stumbled across it while looking for diagrams of the seats construction.

Can I ask how you found it? What keywords?

I've searched for things on this forum, and come up dry more than successful. If you hit the right keywords, great, but if you'e not thinking of the right one you get nowhere.

FWIW, I found the shop manual some time ago, but that was by browsing all the posts in the forum. I'm not sure I'd have found it with the search engine, especially if I was trying to find info on a particular component.

I'm not saying people shouldn't try a search, or check to see if they're replicating a post that's on the first page (RX-8 mileage...There's a big recall...etc), but this post looked like a very reasonable call for help.

You know, like you said, when you search, if you want something, dont just search for that, search something thats "related" to the topic.

*wire diagrams* ..... *sigh*

Many new computer users said yahoo and goole suck because they cant find anything that they want, well, problem is that they didnt use the right keyword.

lesson learned people.
