Winter Storage Question

Winter Storage Question

Im putting my 8 away for the winter next month in a insulated storage garage (not heated) and wanted to know how often I should go up and start my car and let it run for a few mins...or is that not nessacary?

Not necessary and actually better to just leave it as is for the Winter season (after the usual storage preparation of course).

You could just take out both of the battery cables, and your all set. It will prevent your battery from draining from long storage time.

Disconnecting the battery (or better using a Battery Tender if there is storage power available) is just one of a number of things that should be done for long term storage. There are already a number of good "Winter storage" threads.
