where do you fill up? and what octane do you use?

where do you fill up? and what octane do you use?

hello guys, i have been getting horrible gas mileage (just like all of us) and I wanted to know what octane do you use?

here in Ca we have 88, 89, 91

I fill up at Exxon and was using 93 octane (we don't have 91 around here), but switched to 89 a couple months ago due to the high gas prices. I have seen no difference in the car since the switch. I have averaged 22.8 mpg over the life of the car (almost 60,000 miles). Mostly highway miles, of course.

Also in california. 91 octane Union 76. I get 20 mpg city or highway.

BP and Kroger and only use 93 octane, no ping ever!!

17-19mpg city
20-24mpg highway

Usually either Shell or Amoco - Always Super Unleaded (93). I average 18 in the city and 23-24 on highway. And no, I dont drive like an old granny....I hit 9k atleast once a day.
