There is nothing wrong with the original coils, its just that they die "really" fast.

Use the updated one and most of the time you be fine (for street and stock engines at least)

Yea from AAP, picked up a new distributer cap and rotor for my other car as well to finish up the free shipping (after the 40% off)

you really just have to check everyday and multiple times a day, they go quickly.

yesterday they 3, 20 minutes later there was 2 and thenby the time I went to order a bunch of stuff there was only 1 so I gave up.

lol !

well, I got 4 when it had "1 yr" warranty.

I guess I should just grab another 4. so I will have "unlimited" Coils ... forever

I wonder what will happen if I need to warranty the coils when they're out of stock. maybe I should ask.

I just checked Advanced Auto Parts and they seem to have the coils in stock. Enter the code p20 under the discount section and that will give you an additional 20% off. That makes the coils only $79.99 for 4 with free shipping!! I already ordered coils from ebay but they were the same BWD/Standard Motor Product coils. They're made in Japan and have the same part numbers as the newest revision Mazda coils. They've been working great!

Wrong.

Enter BIG40. it goes down to 60 (cuz its 40 bux off 100)

then add some other bs of 15 bux to make the total to about 75. Free shipping.

Yeah but if you don't need anything else I'm not gonna waste 15 bucks on crap to save 4 bucks. p20 ends up with a final price of 79.99.

That basically means you pay extra 15 bux for shipping it to you. might as well get some stuff you use on regular basics. If you have a store near you its even better, you can add washer fluid and brake cleaner and other cleaner stuff and you will be able to get it 75 bux ships free deal while you get all the "extra" stuff.

For example, I just add 4 coils, 2 Mobil 1 75w90 LS gear oil, comes up to 80.94. Sure they don't ship oil I just pick them up in the store & the coil still ships free.

well if you don't have any AAP around you then just add a spark plug to the package. 79.15 b4 tax. same ships free and you get an "extra" spark plugs. Don't tell me you need coils but not spark plug.

which one sound like a better deal to you?

79.99 for 4 coils shipped

79.15 for 4 coils + 1 spark plug shipped.

See my signature lol

Haha, I see where you're coming from. I guess for me right now I couldn't think of anything that I really needed. Either way, AAP is a good deal for coils!

Alright, as stated by others, these are the SAME exact thing as the OEM coils. I got REV B. ones, old ones were A.

NY if you brought up this find, you deserve cake or cookies. specially if you do it with your idea above with the plugs and coils, you CANNOT beat the price.

Have been telling people about it for a long *** time.

the BIG40 code came out I think 1/2 yr ago. shortly after the original BIG50 launch, but BIG50 is good only if u buy stuff thats over 100 bux for sure, cuz its 50 bux off 200.

There was a "while" that AAP limit the BIG40 code to 1 per customer, but that does not stop people from creating new accounts *cough*I created like at least 10*cough*

There was a deal I think about 2 weeks ago it was like buy 100 bux and u will get a 50 bux off 100 coupon later (now), so what I did was I found something I need that cost about 140 bux, use the 40 bux coupon to make it around 100 and I just got that coupon, thinking what should I do with it. lol !

ok, where is my cake/cookie hahahaha

I haven't posted in here in a while but I got the Intermotor (BWD) coils a few weeks ago. Yes, they are the same. I paid $80 for all 4 coils.
This isn't anything special, car and part manufacturers do this all the time for ALL brands/models and parts.
Much like prescription medicine, pay for generic or go for "brand" with the same exact chemistry behind it.

Glad I found this thread Got 4 new coils, some anti-seize, and some car wash all for $77 shipped to my door. That can't be beat.

Edit: "Not able to obtain inventory quantities in distribution centers. Please call Customer Care at 1-877-ADVANCE for assistance."

They couldn't have told me that before I gave them all my CC info?

nothing beats 40% discount ! muhahahaha !

but I guess too many people "abused" the coupons (cuz it even works with oil)

AAP took BIG40 and LC123 away

A123 or ES123 still works At this time, but its 30 off 100, better than nothing I guess ?

For oil, unless you are getting gear oil or special oil like Royal Purple, its not worth it to buy them at AAP even with the discount. You better wait for engine oil change specials at Autozone (cuz you get 1 point over 20 bux, 5 points u get 20 bux to use)

Remember to use cash back service to get another 5% rebate off your purchase !

Hmm...If that's the case, you may want to PM the owner himself and ask about purchasing them separately.
