Well Now-my Car Wont Flood-it Dont Use Oil-it Doesnt

Ok i have owned me new to me 04 rx8 for over a week now, i purchased it in tn and had to drive it back here to my home in charlotte nc and have already put 1200+ miles on it and some hard ones to, it has brand new tires on it as that was in the deal i made that new ones be put on, and it had new oil change in it the day i drove away w/it.

I checked the oil dipstick when i left for home 400 miles away, had to stop to fill up again a 100 miles from home, i wasnt fully empty but my lo gas light came on, anyway i checked the oil and no prob or decrease at all.
well i have driven over 1200 miles on it and the oil hasnt dropped any noticeable amount yet on the dipstick.
Also i had the msp16 upgrade done for free as under warranty and it helped bigtime with initial cold start startup and with huge 0-4krpm acceleration pickup and all the way thru to redline.
And it idles smoother.

I have seen so many post on flooding, i honestly have tried at least 8 times to flood this car, it wont do it, ive been out on cool morns at or below 32degrees f, and started it for 10 seconds and shut it off, it starts right back up np everytime.

I was driving to clemson sc from charlotte nc yesterday in the morn (a 130 mile one way trip) and weather was crappy, well on the way back it was doing some good raining so i decidied to pull into a huge mall parking lot and see just how the car handled on wet roads, well i got up to 30-40 mph in the parking lot where there were no immediate cars or people around and i yaked it hard both to the left and to the right and np at all with loseing any control, i stopped and punched it, the tires held the road fine with just barely any breaking away from the road.

so back on the hwy (hwy 85 btw) i traveled with the traffic averaging tween 85-95 mph and np at all on the wet/rain soaked hwy.

Well i arrived at home and when the rain finally stopped i checked the oil,it still hasnt dropped any noticeable amount yet.

Now as far as the stories about the car using gas, yes it does but then again i think im getting around 300+ miles per tank but this isnt a definate as of yet as im just guessing but will get a exact estimate here in a few days as i drive back over to tn.

So last night i pulled up car fax and paid for the report, hell i paid an extra $5 totalling 29,95 for unlimited reports for cars for 30 days so i can check my friends cars or anyone elese who wants to know.
It says the car was first bought by a company and was used as a fleet car averaging just 4k miles per year as it only had 19k on it when i bought it a little over a week ago,, anyway it has been well maintained and oil changed and car chassis lubed and tires all aired up etc etc every 2500 miles.
the car has never had any thing done to it in the past other than oil changes and hasnt been involved in any wrecks.

i drive a lot of highway miles.. my car does use oil. but not a lot..

i do not have to add oil between changes.. but do know it is 1.75 qts from the full to low line on the dipstick..

i do also premix a bit as a safety.

You may have a problem.

Doesn't sound like any RX8 I'd ever heard about. (you sure you didn't get a knock off replica or something).

Seriously, Congratulations ! Sounds like you got a real sweet car. My experience has been similar. Never flooded, even when I've stalled on cold days before the engine has warmed up. Actually I've had no issues what so ever. Usually I add a quart between oil changes (3500 mi) in two parts.

no,

and most techs dont know how to test the omp with the wds.. and the omp is not likely your problem. or do you really have a problem.
