Weird Rattle/Grind
Hi guys, i have had my 05, 8 for about a 1 1/2 years.
i have put a new ACT flywheel and a CenterForce flywheel clutch combo in it. the old clutch sufferd from rear main leakage. now there is this strainge rattle/grinding sound between 2-3k rpm in 4th-final drive gears. thought it might have been lose exhaust but its all tight.
sounds like its coming from the front.
any ideas? oh and the dear installed it and said im out of luck, cuz its not a mazda clutch.
i have searched the lists for a few hours and looked at as much as i could but my eyes are starting to bug out from reading. if there is a thread out there that i over looked plz foward me a link.

I went with a stage 3 clutch, it's great with the factory flywheel no more grinding or squeaking!

anyone know why it my flywheel makes a rattling sound?? i have no problem with taking transmision out because i dont have to worry about the big freaking jam nut.
its not very loud this time but last time i had a F1 flywheel and it was so loud i could hear it over my radio with my subs up almost all the way. then i found oil in the drive way and 2 days later the clutch melted to the flywheel. (and no i didnt over fill the oil and blow it out the rear main)
i just want to be able to drive normal and not hear the stupid thing rattle like its broke.
oh and does anyone know where i can find the Angel of the sub-frame? (the frame that blots to the trans then to the rear end) i was told last time by the dealer that it was miss alinged and casued my u-joints to go and bend the yoke on the trans side. witched casued my vibrations and my trans to go. (warrenty work :D ) i will keep looking for it but i dont see it in the forum yet.
