Weight vs performance
So I'm going to visit my large aunt this weekend, and I'm thinking of showing her the car a bit. How much effective HP loss can I expect due to adding 200+ pounds of passenger weight?
Ohay, here's the serious answer
kinetic energy = 0.5 * mass * velocity * velocity, so the energy you have to put in to hit a given speed is proportional to the mass you're dragging, plus additional losses from effects on rolling resistance (are you putting more air into the tyres?) and so on...
Work it out from there (we can't because you don't specify your own mass
)
