Warranty Question, 2007 engine replacement

I have a 2004 6 speed manual and was curious how much engine warranty I have left. I called Mazda North America and they were able to tell me exactly when my warranty ended and also the service history of my car. I found out it had an engine replaced in 2006 and again in 2007. It also had the Cat replaced in 2007. My car has taken 2-5 seconds to start since I purchased it in April and I have 70,000 miles on it. I replaced plugs and coils and the problem hasn't changed. I suppose I will bring it into the dealer before February to find out if I have low compression. The car is fast and pulls well so I don't suspect an issue, but all of you on this forum have made me paranoid! I'll let you know what I find. Also, what is the consensus on the 2007 era Mazda rebuilds? Should I be concerned with the longevity of this engine? Until it breaks, I will drive it like I stole it! Zoom, zoom!
