I have seen more and more people using wagner med duty and thermo tech brake pads. I have yet to see how they are fairing on a RX8. I need new front pads either way, but before I spend the money on the Hawks anyone have any luck with Wagners higher performance pads?

The good thing about Thermo Tech's is that they emit very little brake dust, so if you like your rims to look clean, go for these. As for stopping power (which is obviously what you SHOULD be looking for when buying pads haha), Thermo Tech's and Akebono's were the majority of the brakes we installed and recommended. I believe that Akebono's are slightly higher in performance but I may be wrong.

Oh and did you mean Thermo Quiet when you say Thermo Tech? because Thermo Quiets are what I'm referring to when it comes to the low brake dust sorry.

yes i meant thermo quiets. I was recommended to Wagner but had never really dealt with them, I had in mind to buy Hawks but now im unsure. I see that Wagners med-duty brakes are highely rated I haven't looked at Akebono's either. I used to run Wilwood mainly.
