turboxs race pipe fits?
i ordered a turboxs racepipe.......then someone told me it doesnt fit stock cat back.......i thought it would b/c of this http://youtube.com/watch?v=9SEBUygZqFk
anyone know if it fits or what to do to make it fit

It does fit, but the holes are not aligned with the stock catback for some reason. Apparently they decided to make their race pipe and catback exclusive to one another, by rotating the mating flanges a few degrees versus what are on the stock parts. To resolve this, I simply used a cutoff wheel (die grinder, dremel tool, angle grinder) and after marking where I needed new holes, I cut a 3 sided slot on each side (since the flange is very thick and would be difficult to drill by hand). I then used bolts, nuts, and washers to tighten them down (no need for the spring setup that mazda uses) and everything was fine.
I since realized that the MP didn't give any real power gains (on my auto) and traded it for a good stock cat that wouldnt throw codes like my original.
