Hey everyone, please advise-


I called Mazda because I want to change the transmission fluid in my 6-speed. They asked if I wanted a flush or a drain and fill.


I asked them how they flush the tranny and they said that they flush the whole system with automatic transmission fluid. Is this correct? Should they flush a manual trans with auto trans fluid?

Also, they said a flush is $140 and a drain and fill is $70. That seems expensive, but i don't want to do it myself, can I trust Mazda, is the question.


Also, does anyone know if they will have Redline MT90 synthetic or an equivalent at the dealer to use? Or would they only have natural trans oils?
