Has anyone heard about this? if so, is it worth the buy. A buddy was talking to me about getting "coolers" for different areas of his car (i.e. Oil Cooler, Transmission Fluid Cooler, etc). just checking around.

Really not needed unless you're racing the car full time and even then it's really not necessary.

 

That is a kit for an automatic transmission.

Automatic transmissions can get longer life with using a transmission cooler such as those, that replaces the stock one found in the radiator or near the radiator (depending on the car).
