If you did not have TPMS you would not have a working TPMS light. I would go out and check the air in your tires.

Actually i had the same problem. My light was comming so i checked my lights and 1 tire was at 29 psi instead of 30psi. So i put more air in that one but it did the same thing a week later with even psi. I took it to my dealer and they did something to the computer and drive it for a minute to see if it came back on. it didn't so i guess they fixed the problem. Or atleast the light didn't come on anymore. I havn't checked my tires recently. Maybe they just turned the whole thing off.

Ok- you all where correct - I do have them- thanks- I just heard from dealer- he said my lap-top- which I run periodically from car is setting off the sensors- (not sure I'm buying this) I asked why is this only happening when it rains- He said not sure- How many have disconnected this little gem?

As for turning off the TPMS, you can't.

gotta be a way!!
With all of the smart folks on this forum there has to be a simple way to make this "pain in the a-- light" go-away/ disconnected- other then the seemingly complicated procedure one member-has already published- There is more and more posts relative to this issue, makes you wonder if the TPS might be showing signs-(maybe age/milage etc.) that this little feature is not the most robust instrument on the car.
