Testing this week for Rx-8 ZTek Exhaust in Sacramento FREEBIES!!

Hi all you Rx-8'ers,

We are doing a test fit and vid session for the ZTek Rx-8 Cat-back Exhaust in Sacramento and we need a local Rx-8 from norcal to volunteer their car for the day. Anyone that would like to can call 1-866-Zero-Tek and ask for Lance or my direct line at 916-717-8151. There will be some FREEBIES *wink *wink when you particpate in the session.

ps -- I'll post the vids, sound clips and pics here for you viewing pleasure when it gets taken care of.

Cheers!

Hmmm..... Interesting, weighing in at 15lbs ??? That's light! Anyway can Ztech confirm the weight? Is this the muffler weight only not including the pipe from the catback or the whole catback system?? Your ebay pic shows only the muffler. Thanks...

Sorry all for the long delay, we had some warehouse troubles but it finally got sorted out and we are on for a fitting and video session asap. Anyone in the Sacramento area that would like to participate please let me know asap 916-717-8151 or 1-866-zero-tek. Cheers!

PS - Just posted some pics, and the system is a easy R&R for the stock mufler and I can give special pricing for rx8club members. Also it includes our signature lifetime warrenty and money-back satisfaction guarentee on the system.

Just completed the install on the Rx-8 and it looks and sounds awesome! Nice, Deep and Throaty, but not too loud. Makes the rotoary engine sound deep and ferrai-ish, like mazda should have done straight outta the factory.

Idle sounds clean, and cruising on the hwy is very stock sounding with ZERO resonance and ZERO droning, but when revving and hard acceleration the car really wakes up.

Here are some sound clips, the exhaust sound 100 times better in person, sound clip cannot really capture the deeper more bassey sound that the exhaust sounds like in person, but it gives you an idea how it sounds.

Not sure if he is allowed to post a price before becoming a vendor but he could say how much of a discount.

The tips look good from the pic. Are they double walled?

That was posted September last year. eBay listings are not permanently on the Internet.

i could not agree more! The stock tone on my 8 was nice and sporty to begin with, but this exhaust kicks that up to perfection. No rattling, no "can of bees" sound, just a sexy, throaty rumble at low RPMs, and a sporty scream towards that 9. Gotta love that old school backfiring sound when the revs drop, too

If anyone in Sac wants to hear it for themselves, PM me. I'll try to post some more pics of those tips by this weekend, too.

PM me for the discount price. And yes they are double walled, fully polished stainless steel, Much larger and better looking than the stock setup.

PS- If i get enough interest, after the few we have left in stock sell out, I will be running a paid Group Buy.
