sun visors

just a head's up (no affiliation with seller) ebay seller zoomparts1 selling new pair of visors for $111 shipped which is good price from what I can tell. I just got some to replace mine that had flopping mirror covers and one was held together with binder clips.

I have a perfect used original pair that I was planning to post FS soon. Less than 30k on the odo, always garaged.

$100 for a pair of sun visors? Maybe I'm crazy but that seems a bit excessive to me.

Haven't checked lately but I remember $54 for a driver's side.

Well it’s a factory part that bolts on and matches perfectly on a discontinued vehicle. They “gotcha” so to speak, especially since they eventually crap out if the car is outside a lot.

Can someone please verify that these visors are NOT designed to slide on the support rod when turned to use in the side window. Mine dont, but they certainly should !

Replacement visors from Avondale Mazda on Amazon

I just received a pair of replacement sun visors for my 2009 R3 from Avondale Mazda on Amazon, priced at about $126 for the pair. They arrived early, installed easily, and appear to be direct replacement OEM visors. They had Mazda parts tags. Very nice and at a very fair price.

Part #'s: FE88-69-320B-77 & FE88-69-270B-77.

For unopened original visors, I feel that $126 is about as fair of a deal as you'e going to get. Mazda has issues with the sun visors in the 8's for some time. There was even a TSB on the visors at one point.

At one point a formerly active member discussed making them on a 3D printer.
Just a thought for you entrepreneurial types.
