Storage
Ok, I know this has been covered a couple times, but I am going on a trip that will last from 45 to 60 days...I don't really trust anyone here at the shop to take it and drive it or even start it the right way. I read about putting Sta-bil in the gas, just wondering if there is anything else that I should do to make sure it starts when I return. It's a short notice TDY and I got like a week to get everything squared away. Thanks in advance!

Two months is no big deal. As stated by RX8Soldier, unplug battery. I would think about sta-bil or another ethanol treatment if you are in an area with 10% ethanol gas. I had a tank of 10% blend go bad in my jetski in less than 6 months.

The first 2 yrs I had my 8, I stored it in a garage for 3-4 months of winter.
I simply disconnected the battery and put it up on jack stands to ease my concerns of suspension settling into a position, especially with crazy chicago temperature changes.
The jack stands may be overkill, and I probably wouldn't bother for 2 months.
I'd also advise you to have atleast a half tank of gas in there.
If there's less room for air, there's less room for condensation.
Condensation in the gas tank can foul the gas, and even worse could corrode the metal in the tank itself. This is usually more dramatic for long periods in storage, but still a concern for me. I don't like the idea of adding anything to my fuel unless it's for oil premix. Which I haven't done yet, but considering it for the break in of a new engine I'm having put in.
