Hey my 2004 automatic rx8 with 29,943 miles, brakes squeal a lot every time i brake they sqeual, is this normal. I took it to the dealer i bought it from and they told me that the brakes are made of some metal material some bull like that and that they are supposed to squeal. Wat can i do? I have bumper to bumper still so i just want to make sure that i can use it before it runs out.

BTW i was going to make an oil change what oil filter does every one prefer.

When have you ever heard a car, from just applying the brakes, squeal and it's been normal?

Not trying to sound rude, but you have owned a car before right? Then you should this is NOT normal. Replace the brakes if it sounds like metal on metal, if its just a little squeal...bummer, if it really bothers you, replace the brakes. Could be bad rotors as well if you go awhile with metal on metal.
