Startup Oddity

Lately starting my car is getting odd. Last night I crunk her up, it took about 3 secs and my flashers and everything came on when she crunk up(for about a sec). Basiclly its taking awhile to turn over and my flashers doing that and I believe last week it rev'd up around 4-5k when started which is higher than normal.

Anyone have any idea what could be going wrong? I just replaced the battery a few months ago. Plugs? coils? It is a 04.

Thanks.

Do you have the upgraded starter? Please give us the history on your car. The service it's had and parts replaced. Model year, miles. Just any thing that you can add.

04 Base. HID's installed is the only electrical work(2yrs ago). 24,600 miles. Nothing has been replaced to my knowledge, I bought it used about 3yrs ago. Carfax is clean. No one works on my car but me and thats usually just changing oil and stuff. It just started doing this a few months ago, but getting worse to where my flashers are coming on sometimes when I crank it.

oem everything except for my exhaust(legamax), HID's.

I would inspect the battery, cell water, terminals, voltage before starting and after to see if its charging. Get the numbers off your starter, if its down level upgrade it.
