starting up in cold weather

hello all,
let me explain my situation and tell me if i may be running into the flooding issue. i have had my car stored away for the past couple months, however, i have been starting it up about once a week, driving it around for 10-15 minutes and then shutting off. i make sure that the temp. is up around have way before i shut off and even rev the engine for a couple seconds up to about 4000 rpm.
the past few times i have been starting it, the car sounded like it was struggling to start up. it has started every time however, it doesn't sound great. i don't like turning and holding the key for too long cause i don't want to flood the engine. i have not yet had the flash PCM updated yet. will this prevent this from happening in the future and allow for a smooth start each time whether its snowing or sunny?

pls help me out!!

thx

Do you have a trickle charger on the Battery when it's parked?

10 minutes once a week is not really using the car much. I don’t think your battery is getting a full charge back. It’s cheap protection against killing the battery so I would try that first. .

Don't know what battery you have but the original ones in the U.S. market are rather anemic in terms of cold cranking amps. That could add to your woes if you're only running the car a few minutes a week.
