Squeaking in front suspension when cold

Anyone have this issue? In the morning it's been pretty cold here in VA but why would that affect my suspension?

When I go over a speed bump or hit a dip in the road, the front suspension squeaks like an old bed. I went over a few speed bumps in my apartments and it's always the front. The back goes over the bump and no squeak. Funny thing is that after driving around for a while it won't make those noises.

Anyone know what that could be?

Re-torque the nuts and bolts of the suspension components to spec, especially the sway bar. However, it may just be a cold rubber component rubbing on metal or another rubber component which will be difficult to diagnose.

yep. Are the bushings rubber, polyurethane, or something?

They are rubber and shouldn't make any noise IF the nuts are tight.
OEM bushing
As mentioned above check all aspects of the front suspension for proper torque. I had a similar noise, but that was do to dry aftermarket polyurethane sway bar bushings.

Mine makes a squeak on the first speed bump on a cold day. Thanks for the tip! Lol, for a moment I couldn't figure out what that "component" was. -- Torque wrench!

It's not a torque wrench, It's a Sidewinder speed wrench, comes in handy at times.
