Sparks and coils which goes first
Sparks and coils which goes first
So I am so confused with this ignition system.
I would like to know which dies first
THE COILS OR THE SPARKS?
Certainly the performance of both depends on the other.
The reason I am asking this is that because i went for a new set of coils and sparks 15kkm before and i now i am experiencing some misfires and hard morning starts. So I thought that if i change only coils i will have my sparks last longer and vice versa.
Thanks for your input

Just throwing this out there but if you were having any issues prior to the coil or spark replacements you might try an E-shaft reset.
I had a failed trailing coilpack and upon replacement I was misfiring all over the place. Resetting the e-shaft position sensor took care of that.
