sparkplugs?

hey all. didn't see my question answered when i did a search
Can i buy new plugs at local autozone, pepboys, etc or do i have to order them from sparkplugs.com, dealer etc?

Car flooded a month or so back and now it is hard to start, pretty sure after searching here that the plugs need to be changed and was just hoping to get some local.
later
Michael

Autozone dont sell them, u cant even order it thru them.

Not sure about Pepboys. You can probably order it thru them, but dont expect it to be cheap.

The cheapest would be either buy it from Amazon.com, Search on Ebay, or get it from Sparkplugs.com

Advanced Auto Parts sells them online. I would only assume the local stores would be able to order them for you, or maybe even have some in stock.

but it off a vendor, you'll get a better deal. Make sure you get the OEM ones.

No offense but I dont think any vendor can beat the price. Mazda sells those plugs like 40 a pop.

I got all 4 for around 60 something bux shipped. 2 from Sparkplugs.com trailing + 5 bux shipping 45 total, then the 2 leading I got it from online site, I got 6 of them so is about 9 bux shipped each. Cant beat that.

Oh btw, the Leading plugs are Mazda Japan plugs, and the ones sparkplugs.com sells are NGK OE plugs, same thing anyway.

Advanced Auto Parts do sell them in store.

I got a set for 85$ (tax in, colorado) about a Month ago.

They said it would take about 3 days for them to come in (ordered on a sunday), they got them in next day.

I checked with pepboys, napa, autozone and a host of others in the Aurora, CO area. No go.

AAP had them for 20$ a pop.

The 10-15$ you can save by ordering through 2-3 different places online is just not worth it to me. Its not like you change plugs every week.

Is good enough for me, I buy 6 of them at the same time, it should last till my car hits 100K miles. :D

saved hmm some money for another fillups, not a lot. but it took me like 30 minutes to find and ordered everything.

Sounds worth it to me

On the other hand, I live in canada.

I'll loose the 15$ twice over in shipping, handling, brokerage and taxes.

So in my case it is actually cheaper to just get em at APP when Im in the US on a business trip. Which is quite often
