spark plugs and new fuel injectors?

I guess I didn't really notice it when I bought the 8 because I was so thrilled with the way it ran compared to owning my previous vehicle.... but I know there is a lose of HP from like 7.5k to 9.5k... it seems like the engine is fighting for it's life to get to 9.5k once it passes 7.5k... would heavy duty spark plugs and fuel injectors make any difference? I have the greddy SP 2 exhaust system installed and I am getting ready t put an AEM or K&N intake on it... maybe that would help as well. Suggestions welcome.

New plugs never hurt anything. They are relatively cheap at sparkplugs.com. Also, I would do the thottle body bypass and oil filler neck to intake hose mods. Those are all easy and very cheap. Just do a search in the DIY section for more details.

Personally, I would go with an RP supercat before any intake mods. Stock intake flows well. The stock cat however is a major cork in the exhaust system.

Good luck.
