Some ?'s
Hello, I bought a 2005 Shinka with 19,148 miles about a month ago, a few days ago I noticed while at a stop light that my car was a bit shakey, not alot but my previous car didn't shake, I took it to the dealer and the mechanic said in his report that he could not reproduce what I was feeling. Is it normal for the car to be alittle shakey at idle? My breaks began to squeal too, should they fix this or is it normal? Other than that and the gas I LOVE my new used car!!!

Here is a site with the TSB's you need to read and then print out the ones that will help your dealer find your problems.(#29 & 35 from the top)

Thanks for your quick responses! I use 91 gas but been reading that 87 is good enough and that the car likes it better? I'll check out those TSB's and showing it to the dealer. Thanks a million!

You can use reg-87 if your engine does not mind it. If you hear the engine making a sound like what we call MIAC(Marbles In A Can) move up to mid grade-89 or 91. The MIAC is the sound that a Rotary makes when it is detonating(PING). It is very bad for a Rotary engine and will damage it quickly. So if you do hear a sound coming from the engine that sounds like a tin can shaken with a marble in it, stop pushing the gas pedal and add some higher octane gas. There are some other simple things(that cost nothing and take five mins) you can do to keep using reg-87.
