I've stocked up one too many Mobil 1 oil for my 92x Aero. But since the 92x going back to be lease return, I have these sitting in the garage. Am wondering should I just put into my rx-8? They are 5w30.
I've always send the 8 to the dealership for oil change. But seeing that I have about 20 jugs of M1 left (yes i went nuts whenever there was a sale), maybe I should DIY oil change for the 8. Your thoughts?
I believe these are the older pre-relabelling to some sort of Fuel Economy Advance Formula mumbo-jumbo ones.

 

IT will work just fine. Mobil1 constantly changing their formula. so no worries, just use it.
