Slipping clutch....help

I have an 04 MT with 74,000 mile on it. The clutch started slipping noticably today. We leave for 45 day patrol wednesday so i have time to save and buy a new one. Any suggestions on where and what to buy. As of right now i guess ill buy from Charles R Hill everything i've read about him suggests hes the man. Is this a good lifetime for a clutch. It was my first stick but ive been driving tractors since i could walk but i did teach a few girlfriends how to drive one on it. How hard would it be to replace? I have access to the auto hobby shop on kesler AFB. They have a duty mechanic and lifts. Has anyone been through this before or would have any insight as far as a clutch replacement would go. Thanks for all the help in advance.

If I was buying from CRH, I'd put a lot of faith in what he'd suggest - based on my mods, driving style etc.

Replacing the clutch isn't that bad a job. The two hardest parts are clutch alignment - there is a tool, and making sure the Power Plant Frame (PPF) is properly replaced, aligned, and tightened according to the proper sequence.

Edit: found a post from BHR / CRH talking about their stage 1 clutch / flywheel - sounds about right for you... https://www.rx8club.com/showpost.php...9&postcount=19

Good luck.
