He said i should flood the care out and they would change plugs for free.. would flooding it out on purpose screw up my car?? i just dont wanna do something that would mess it up.. id rather buy plugs and put them in myself.. i mean.. if mazda does it.. its like 200$ just for tha plugs.. i can do all other maint... so what yall think???

either buy the plugs and do em yourself, or pay to have mazda do em. if you flood the car, it could result in damage to the cat. plus its just plain dishonest. just like with false insurance claims driving up insurance costs, false warranty claims would lead to increasing the overall cost of our vehicles

If you've had problems with very slow cranking of the engine and a fear that the car wouldn't start, tell the service manager that. They may do all the no-start fixes-- new battery, plugs and starter. If not, do the plugs yourself and, like lurch says, avoid the possiblilty of creating other problems by flooding the car intentionally.

I think I'd go to another Mazda Dealer from now on. If he's suggesting you lie, I wonder what they are doing to your car or not doing to it that you are paying for?

I think your maintenance guy has poor ethics to say the least. You're almost at the replacement interval for the plugs, meaning they have given you a good service life. Why should Mazda pay for their replacement?
