shaddy gas mileage
i have been deployed for the 4.5 months. now that im driving my car again it seems im getting even worse gas mileage than before. i dont have any hard numbers yet, but i filled up the other day and im at a little under have a tank with like 120 or so miles on the trip. a lot short trips around base. my wife flooded it out while i was gone and my buddy pulled the plugs and what not, he said they werent horrible, but not new. should i change them faster than i planned. cause its on the list.

That sounds about right for short trips/city driving. Let's say you fill up again at 220 miles, you'll probably need about 12-13 gallons which puts it at 16-18 mpg which is what the car gets.

That doesn't sound bad if you filled up with already half a tank and were sitting at 120 on the meter. Plus I get the same mileage as I did before and I was gone for 8+months and my buddy only started it up about once a month (lots of snow on the ground here this past winter).

My MAF was S0000ooooo dirty. After I cleaned it, I got my gas mileage back. Plus my car runs like new.
