I'll give you some advice as you're just going to get flamed in this thread.

GO TO THE DEALER AND TELL THEM YOUR MOTOR'S FUCKED.

DON'T TELL THEM THE CAR WAS A WRECK WHEN YOU BOUGHT IT.

Now, if they say that it's not covered by warranty.

GO TO ANOTHER DEALER AND DO THE SAME THING.

Failing that - find a reputable engine rebuilder ... if you search these forums you'll find out there are a few on here ... perhaps ask them for their advise and they may be able to give you a ballpark for how much it is going to be.

this may just be a misunderstanding of words, but most likely is not. You arent gonna just go pay some mechanic to change seals in your motor. If you think anyone besides an experienced professional is going to do even a half-assed job.. then save yourself some time and frustration and push it into the local ravine

Dude, it's totally not just car forums and college either. Our society is becoming entirely dependant on others(gov) to take care of them and be responsible for them.

Are you ******* serious?? I have no social experience with Australians for the most part, but seriously?! I would have EXPECTED this kind of response from an American, because thats how our society thinks, and thats why our society is slowly crumbling.

What the **** is up with people who have not even the most basic of ******* ethics these days? Do you even realize that you are actively suggesting and giving him instructions to commit fraud?

Do you approach everything in life this way? Willing to rip others off, regardless and careless of any consequences simply because it is convenient to you?

Btw, reported for advising some obviously noob ignorant kid to commit FRAUD.

******* unbelievable...
