S1 vs S2 engine bay
I'm looking to have a custom strut bar made by my fab guy that lives in NJ but I live in Chicago. Therein lies the issue: I need someone from around there to drop their car off for him to make the brace on. My friend with an S2 agreed to do it, but...
I need to make sure that the engine bay and all the mounting points are exactly the same between an s1 and s2. Can anyone verify?

Not 100% sure actually i think there are slight differences but nothing that should impact that.
Best case scenario i have an s1 and am IN NJ so I can help you out by him prototyping on my car.
