RX8 Motor Mount Heat Shield ??
Ok im moving right along into addressing my right hand side motor mount problem, the mount is bad because it is leaking fluid and the vibration is worth with the AC on. Every dealer i have called has no part number or wasnt even aware that they came out with a heat shield for the right hand side. i know they came out with a new mount for the right side with an upgraded rubber matterial, supposably. Does anybody know if its worth buying the new one or should i just pick up a set like this and not have to worry about it anymore

does anybody have a picture of the heat shield? is it part of the mount itself or is it part of the bracket?

I have , there is nothing about a heat shield anywhere. Im just so torn on wether I should go with a nice set of aftermarket mounts or go with the new upgraded material mount and run the risk of it failing on me again

Of course I do, I just keep hearing all these stories about them failing again in another year or two, some people are on their third set ...

Nycgps : are those the stock ones ? Do you have any vibration? And do you have the revised motor mOunt for the passenger side ?
