RX-8 Swap
Hey Guys,
I took my car into the dealership today to get the compression test done on my 04 rx8. It has 47,xxx but has loss of power hard starting and the usual signs. I have also had the compression checked and it was 60. No bueno.
I think the dealership will find that the engine is wrecked and should fall under the extended warranty, However if they don't I was looking on the net and found that people have talked about swapping in the ls1 motors. I know that a lot of guys on here won't approve but i am still curious if anyone has done it and has a write up or knows a shop that is in Socal that could perform the swap.
Any help here would be great!!
