Rubber flap separating wheel well from engine bay?

Need to buy a replacement rubber flap that separates the back of the front wheel well from the engine bay where the engine mounts are located, but I can't find this part # to save my life. Cranked up my engine without an exhaust manifold and melted one into a pile of rubber goo in about 60 secs flat even though I thought it was pulled far enough out of the way ...

I can't find the part number either, did you try harassing Paul at Mazmart?
You're alking about the rubber flap that can be removed to service the spark plugs right?

Since i kept breaking them for odd reasons (being dumb first and foremost) i just made them of a stiffer material.

Obviously, don't buy it here, but can you find it in this pic? I use this site for part identification sometimes. FYI..............I selected an 05 to run this.

I didn't see Bse50's response before typing, but that's what I was looking for..................the rubber flap allowing spark plug access......is that right?

Ha ha.............I just found that same diagram and was thinking he's after 56-131A(F151-56-321E), so thanks for doing my work for me so I didn't have to attach it here.

I just now ran across that in the last couple of minutes.

Sure looks like what I was thinking he wanted.

Splash Shield?

Tasca has F151-56-321E for $8.46, but charges a flat $10 on shipping. They will combine ship though, so I usually wait until I have enough little crap that I need to order that will make that $10 shipping charge worth it.

silly question - is that little rubber flab even important? is its purpose just to prevent the very rare piece of something flying fro the wheel going into the engine area?

Thanks. I couldn't remember which parts screen it's located in and ran out of time looking before having to leave this morning. I tore up several a long time ago, but figured out how to avoid that and then haven't bought one again in the last 5 years or so. It has a function, but my main interest in replacing it is that technically the racing class I run in doesn't allow me to remove it. I'll order it with some other parts I need through Mazda Motorsports.
