Question Royal Purple Questions

im thinking about switching over to royal purple synthetic oil but first i need some questions answered that my searching hasnt yet yielded.

1)how often should i change the oil? 3k?

2)should i keep the weight at 5w20?

3)where can i buy this stuff at a good price?

4)what do the rx8 royal purple users think of it?

5)do you notice slightly better gas mileage/power?

6)what steps should be taken during the oil change that switches out the old dino oil to the royal purp.? besides fully letting the old oil drain? should i dig all up in my oil pan with a spoon and a straw scraping/syphoning out the old oil?

**i read some where it will take several more oil changes before im fully synthetic.

just jack up the car on both sides to make more oil drain from the oil coolers. You're not going to get it all, but in 2-3 changes you will. syn and dino oil can mix without issue.

try them, they are worth about a 20 min drive. excelent prices. i think we got them for 650 or 7 a quart.

i would like to hear some negatives to that oil though. i heard its awsome, but its always more interesting to hear the negatives.

I was at Murray's auto parts yesterday and they had it there, I've also seen it at Advanced Auto.
