Royal Purple 20W or 30W

Hey, I've been reading up on everyone's reccomendations on Royal Purple use and I seem to get a 50/50 opinion on what everyone uses when it comes to it. Which is better for our cars 5W20 or 5W30? This is NOT a thread about synthetic or not-synthetic. I could care less. I'm going with RP I just wanted to get a good idea on which weight to use before I went through with it. My car spends most of it's time in North Carolina where it gets hot and humid/muggy in the summer and pretty nice in the winter, but I do go to nothern VA on occasion, which is about the same, just a lot colder. Thanks guys.

btw - I'm a car noob so I don't know the difference between oil weights, break it down barney style for me, thanks.

Summer 5w30, winter 5w20. Unless you're turbo'd, then always 5w30.

owner's manual states to use 5w20, so that would be the best to go with

Honestly it doesn't matter. Pick one.
