I know the post is old just wondering, i have 64,000 miles on my beloved 8. ben running conventionaly oil fo that long would it benifit me to maybe switch to synthetic or would it hut my engine. alo i have been premix withIDEMITSU synthetic premix would that have an impact?

32,000 Miles (On Mazda's "recommended" dino 5w30)
Location: QLD, Australia (Should be about the same weather conditions as California, i think)

Ok, Trawled this and other forums for two day's now, and here is what i am thinking about doing,

Sump Oil : Royal Purple 5W20
Oil Filter Magnet.
Premix : Amsoil Saber 250:1 (250ml to 50L)
Periodic( say every 4 tanks) 125ml to 50L of Lucas Upper Cyl Lube.

Btw, Is there any mod to install the third oil injector to the S1 as in S2. Way to expensive i suppose, modifying casing, oil pump, flashing ECU etc.
