A rotary engine exam?

I recently saw this, and wondered how many of us have seen our engines seals?

It would be cool to view the inside of the rotor chamber.

I've seen our seals and I've sat at a table having a burger with Dr. Ianetti while he explained the micrographs and other test results he had with him and i was holding the ceramic versions

i say this not to be smug but because it was just damn cool

wouldnt see much except just the apex seals and surfaces of plates/housings, even then i dont think the resolution is good enough to find potential future apex seal problems such as a small crack or fissure.

Those screen thingos are limited in what they're actually handy for, most of the time they just waste time.
