rip in leather....

any body know how much it might cost to get the right rear bottom seat cushion replaced from the dealer. or anybody know of any shops that can fix ripped seats in the philly area. this just sucks i tell ya, from now on i'm gonna start screening my passengers before they get in my car

That sucks man Fixing leather isn't the easiest thing. You might be able to go to a specialized tailor and buy a leather repair kit(probably not worthwile but that all depends on how bad the rip is) Or take it to a leather specialist and see what he says. Where I work we have to send out ripped leather jackets all the time, and if it's ripped on the panel then it can cost big money($60-100). The leather in the RX8 is pretty high quality as well. Your other option would be to ask Mazda what to do. They may be the most expensive route, but I think they might be able to do the best job. I hope everything works out for you man.

i say dont mess arround, dont buy no repair kit, they just make a bigger mess, sound harsh but i say try to find the seat from another 8 or get it repaired proffesionaly cause last thing you want is a chunk of glue on your seat.
