I'm wondering if anyone has this characteristics when reversing slowly, the engine makes some sort of high pitch chirp/squeel sound. But a blip of the throttle eliminates it. It's a bit annoying to me. Car drives fine during forward motion. Only in reverse. Is this normal?

 

When it's cold outside sometimes I hear a quick "chirp" from the engine when I put the car in Reverse. But it's just that, a quick half second chirp and it doesn't do it all the time. I think I might just need a new belt though, oh and I'm AT not MT.
